Ham and Broccoli Quiche
Hello I’m Dominique. I am a senior in the IDS Environmental Studies Program. Next semester, I should graduate from the program with a BA. It has taking me many years to finally finish college. I have two daughters, I’m married and I work full-time (10 hours a day, with every Friday off).
One of my favorite dishes that remind me of my mother is her Quiche. Quiche is a savoury, open-faced pastry crust with a filling of savoury custard with one or more of cheese, meat, seafood, or vegetables. Quiche can be served hot or cold. It is part of French and Creole cuisine but is also poplar in other countries, as a party dish. My mother makes chicken and broccoli, shrimp and spinach, or ham and cheese. They are delicious and easy to make.

I happen to love Quiche. Many times when we are celebrating a co-workers birthday, Quiche is one of the dishes that is brought into our office. This looks really good. Congratulations on your upcoming BA, and I commend you for sticking with your education and at the same time raising children and working full-time!!. that is so great!
Quiche is delicious!! Its a staple in my house as well as my husband loves breakfast and its really quick and easy to make for him to warm up before work. I make his with sausage, bacon and pepper-jack cheese. I would love to try your mom’s chicken and broccoli or even just a ham and cheese one. The combinations both sound delicious!
This authentic quiche looks tasty. It’s like its the mother of my mini paleo quiches, in a good way! I have always liked the original quiches myself because they remind me of a fancy brunch, which includes my favorite brunch time beverage…..Mimosa’s! In addition to all things fancy and girly, quiches also offer a variety of ingredient choices which makes them even more exciting.
This quiche looks delicious. My friend taught me a few years ago how to use hashbrowns as a substitute for pie crust. I love to make breakfast quiche as a grab and go. You can throw anything into a quiche and it will be good.
