In meeting with several of you today in conferences, it seems there’s some confusion about the paper’s deadline. We pushed it back so you would have more time to research and revise. It is due Tuesday, November 26.
Sorry for the confusion. Those of you who were planning to submit on Thursday are now miles ahead, a good thing.
We’re going to be discussing MLA style citation today, especially the Works Cited page.

Thursday, October 17 – Bring 4 copies of Assignment 2 to class

Find an online article and / or video which addresses issues raised in this class. Write a blog post summarizing and linking to it, giving some questions for possible discussion. Note: these may be by authors we’ve read in the class, but cannot be articles or videos we’ve already used. Make sure you edit carefully and come up with a descriptive title. Everyone is required to do one, however students who choose to do more will receive extra credit points.
