Lorena’s favorite dishes

Hi y’all

My name is Lorena Calderon, I’m a senior here at CSUDH. This is my last semester and I am graduating in May. I enjoyed my time at DH and will definitely miss all of my professors.  I plan to attain my single subject credential and teach history to high school students. My favorite dishes are cheese enchiladas and Chilaquiles served with sour cream, cotija cheese, red rice, salsa, and beans.  I love this dish because it’s so cheesy and easy to make. I can eat them at least once a week. Here is a food selfie from last Monday, from a bakery in Koreatown, its called Paris Baquette located on 3060 W. Olympic Blvd. LA, Ca. 90006.  I love this cream-filled croissant pastry because it’s sweet but not too sweet and the filling is comprised of choux cream and fresh strawberries. I also love the powdered sugar on top of the puff pastry or croissant. I don’t have a favorite pastry so every time I go to Paris Baguette I try a different one.
