I first encountered harry potter in elementary school. I did not really read the books before but the name caught my eye so when the movie came out I really was curious about watching it. When i saw it I was really excited about what I had seen and had wanted to watch or read more about it. the more I learned about it the more I realized I wanted to have been able to have a cool destiny to make up for being bullied. but my life was a reality and I could not get a chance to go to boarding school because it was expensive. I had stopped at some point with the franchise because the books were really expensive at the time. the closest thing i had to be like harry potter was when my interest in magic grew. I had practiced magic tricks and started do stage performing. I had realized that I may not have been the wizard I wanted but I was at least a magician that made people laugh. Then one day I was performing for people in an ice cream shop and one of them told me, “you’re a wizard harry”. It made me feel the same way harry potter felt when hagrid told him the same thing
